State Marriage Regulations for Eloping in Georgia

Residency is not required but you must apply for your license in the county where your marriage is to be performed and you need two pieces of ID (e.g., drivers license; passport). No waiting period and no blood tests are required, but you must be 18 years or older, or if 16 or 17, be accompanied by parents who must give written consent. The cost is $57 or more (bring cash) and the price may be more if you cannot show certification of a premarital education program (free).
